Troubles 1924
The life for the Jewish minority was not always without troubles. The rising Antisemitism reach even Steinsfurt as an episode on December 16, 1924 shows. The Jewish inhabitants became victims of an attack that was more than a mere hoax.
The Jüdisch-liberale Zeitung in Berlin (!) writes on January 2, 1925:
Steinsfurt near Sinsheim.
During a ball the doors of the Israelitic inhabitants were blocked. A barn was put on fire. The prosecution offers a reward of 300 Mark for seizing the criminals.
