Gurs Memorial
On October 22, 1940 – 75 years ago – the Jewish population of Baden was deported to Gurs in South-France.
In cooperation with the denkmal-aktiv AG of the Wilhelmi-Gymnasium Sinsheim, the VHS Sinsheim and „Spielmobil im Kraichgau e.V.” we commemorate this event in a series of events.

In the Steinsfurt synagogue on sunday October 18, at 3 pm we had a commemoration for the deportation of the Jews 75 years ago.

On the Synagogenplatz in Sinsheim we remember the pogroms in November 1938, when the Sinsheim synagoge was burned down, too.
