Our Projects
We consider it as a very important task to introduce youth to history.
Our permanent partner is the denkmal aktiv AG of the Wilhelmi Gymnasium Sinsheim, but we worked with groups of other schools as well.
Together we started several projects.
Calendar 2007

Members of the denkmal-aktiv AG at the Wilhelmi-Gymnasium Sinsheim produced a calendar for 2007 with exceptional pictures of the former synagogues within the bounderies of Sinsheim.
Calendar 2008

Pupils from the Realschule Waibstadt, the Wilhelmi-Gymnasium Sinsheim, the Hartmanni-Gymnasium Eppingen and the Adolf-Schmitthenner-Gymnasium Neckarbischofsheim produced a calender for 2008 with pictures of synagogues and other monuments of Jewish culture in the Kraichgau.

Our association took part in preparing and producing the traveling exhibition
„Dem Vergessen entrissen. Jüdisches Leben im Kraichgau”.

In 2008 a topic map „Jewish Life in the Kraichgau” was produced by a cooperation by pupils of different schools. Our organisation supported this project in an essential way. The map can still be bought from us.
Stolpersteine

Since the start of school year 2013/2014 members of the denkmal aktiv AG at the Wilhelmi-Gymnasium Sinsheim collect information about all persons who have been persecuted from political reasons during the so called Third Reich within the Große Kreisstadt Sinsheim. He hope to get Stolpersteine for as many as possible of them.
Our organisation has provided web-space so that the pupils can publish the results. And we support that work in other ways.
